Mr Morrison having left home on Sunday for London where He may be detained for some time, In his absence I beg to acknowledge Receipt your Letter of 10th Inst addressed to him, inclosing Wm Cox & Sons D[ra]ft on Smith Payne & Co London dated 29th Oct. at 2 months for £1347.6.0 on acc[oun]t for Lead sold you

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
