London 10th June 1802 My Lord Bishop I am informed that your Lordships Agents have lately made a Claim for Dues of Lead wrought in the Weardale Mines for some time past, a Claim which has surprised me much, You must be sensible that there is a Subsisting Agreement between your Lordship & myself for your one Ninth Dues which Agreement it is my Resolution to abide by.
