My dear Sir,

I am very much obliged to You for Your information about the Disturbances in the North, I greatly fear there will be some more serious work yet before every thing is settled. I will order a Buck to be killed and sent to You, if You will be so obliging as to settle with our Friend Mr. Kit Blackett when it will suit You both, they are in as fine Condition as they will be in. I hope you found Mrs. Collingwood well. Mrs. Beaumont joins me in best Respects to her & Yourself. I am

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
