Portman Square Feby <1>4. 98 My Lord, I had the Honor of Your Lordships letter some time since respecting the Division & Enclosure in Weardale & immediately wrote down to my Agents about it. I have been confined to my House for some time by an Accident in hurting my leg, but as soon as I am able to stir out I will do my self the Honor of waiting upon Your Lordship. I have the Honor To be, My Lord Your Lordships most obt. & very humble Servant Tho. Rd. Beaumont [on verso in Bp Barrington’s hand:] Col. Beaumont. Feb 24 1798. I saw Col.B the same day in consequence of this letter & wrote to Mowbray by the Post. L.D.
