Mr. Bernardeau May 13th 1731 Sir, If you judge it proper, I desire you will write to your friends in France to know the utmost price they will give for 5 or 6000 peices WB Lead, to be d[elivere]d as follows 2000 peices before the 11th June, 2000 more before the 1st July, & 1 or 2000 more before the 30th July & to be paid for by bills in London at 2 usance, dated at those respective times, whether the Lead be shipd or not, provided 10 days notice be given you before each of the above mentioned days that the Lead lays ready for you at Blaydon, I am etc JR
