Gentln	I have this day sent you by Jacksons & Potts the London Carriers Two Cakes of fine Silver One Weighing 1502 Ounces the other 1044 Ounces which I desire that you will place to Account with Coll Beaumont at the Market Price and advise Mr Blackett on your Receipt of them; who is not yet returned from London but is daily expected           I am etc  J.S

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
